What could be improved

Each time I or someone I know uses this hospital there is a problem. My elderly mother-in-law was phoned by a doctor saying she urgently needed to be seen as something had showed up on recent tests. Understandably, she was extremely anxious when told she had to visit the Freeman Hospital that afternoon as North Tyneside General did not have the necessary equipment to treat her.

Upon arrival at the Freeman they had no details from North Tyneside General and she was left none the wiser. She visited the North Tyneside General the next morning and was fortunate enough to speak with a consultant who advised her that what she had been told was not the case and the doctor had been incorrect in what he had said.

What is going on at this so-called hospital? Not only is this is an appalling way to treat people but it is also worrying. What else are doctors like this one getting wrong at this hospital?

Anything else?

It's about time a serious inquiry is set up to review the increasing number of concerns about this hospital.
