About: Southend Hospital / Urology

I had kidney stones . Submitted to hospital with pains in my left side. Confirmed kidney stones after tests. I had a catheter fitted to the bladder from the kidney on the L/H side.

Nursing and doctors were brilliant, even the dinners and tea people were lovely. We often hear of people moaning about hospital care, but I can honestly say that every time I have had to get treatment in Southend Hospital and it was at least 6 times the patient care all round has been excellent. That includes two hip replacements, broken ankle, kidney stones, face surgery ( after dog bite ) etc.
