"GP:Practice Comment"

This is the worse GP practice ever. I've been trying to get an appointment for months and months! All appointments available online are only in the morning, maybe 1 or 2 at 4pm - nothing else! I work Monday to Friday so I've been trying to get an evening appointment. They claim they are open till 8pm on Tuesday and Wednesday however no appointments are ever available after 4pm! What's the point then! Been currently sick for 4 days and have been trying to get on the day appointment, when calling them at 8:30am all lines are busy - the signal doesn't even go through and it has been like that for 2 days all the way until 11am. When the call went through finally after 11am a lady on the phone said that I should call back the best day from 8AM to get on the day appointment and that they don't have any appointments in the next couple of weeks in the evening as they want to be 'fair to all patients therefore you must call in the morning!!!! I have decided to ring them again the next morning and the call did go through, however apparently all 'receptionists were busy' and couldn't answer the phone. I've been waiting on the line for 30mins and nothing! You will die faster than get an apponintment with them. What is the point of being open until 6 or 8pm when they don't have any appointments- even in advance. Extremely unhappy with this service. Now in order to get an appointment I need to go and see a doctor else Where privately as Lawrence house surgery doesn't have any appointments for the future!!
