"Rude and offensive receptionists"

I find the reception staff to be rude and offensive (though not all - some are helpful).

I rarely go into the surgery or phone to try to make an appointment as the receptionists are frequently hostile and often totally lacking in manners to the extent that they are intimidating and off-putting.

I only would only ask to see the doctor if I felt it was essential. I am patient and understand there is a high volume of callers to attend to however when I do get through and agree to accept whatever appointment is available, it is upsetting to be dealt with, with almost no civility on the part of the receptionist.

I know they are under pressure and it is hard dealing with the public on the front-line but some of the receptionists at Morum House have no business at all working in a caring profession, with often vulnerable patients, that is unless the surgery wants to put people off from engaging with the health service.
