"Forever grateful of the dignity and respect"

About: Manchester Royal Infirmary / Cardiology

(as a service user),

Thank you to the amazing nurses, especially Hayley, Angie and Christina, and Palliative Care Nurse Nicola at the Acute Cardiac Centre at the MRI for caring for my grandad in the last few days of his life. The staff were so thoughtful and couldnt do enough for us to help us cope with our circumstances. Will be forever grateful of the dignity and respect you gave to our loving grandad!

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback via the NHS Choices website about your experience at Manchester Royal Infirmary. Please accept our sincere condolances for the loss of your Granfather. We appreciate that this is a very difficult time for you and your family, and we are very grateful for your positive comments about the care and treament provided to your loved one in his last days. We were especially pleased to read that you found our staff to be thoughtful and that your Grandfather was treated with dignity and respect whilst in our care.

We will ensure that your feeback is passed on to the Matron of the Palliative Care Team, and the Ward Manager of the Acute Cardiac Centre so that it can be shared with the wider team.

The Patient Experience Team.
