We recently received a letter from the west of Scotland mobility and rehabilitation centre. It was a user satisfaction survey. My mother passed away back in May, she didn't actually have chance to use any of the equipment that we were given. There's a wheelchair, a bar for the bed and a seat for the shower. These things are folded away and unused. I rang the service to ask if someone could come and collect the equipment so that someone else can benefit from using it. When I called I left a message and someone got back in touch with me and said they'd arrange for some one to pick it up but then nothing happened. That was around four months ago and I haven't heard anything since as they never got back in touch with me. I don't mind dropping off the equipment, I can put it in my car and drive it to the QEUH campus. At the moment my dad has to see it folded up in the room not being used.
"We don't know how we can return the equipment"
