What I liked

My reception at A & E was smooth, quick and efficient All this was achieved in a sympathetic and friendly fashion. Later I was transferred to R.A.C.E. Ward, where once again I received a very high standard of care delivered in a friendly and courteous manner. At all times I was kept informed about samples being taken and why, and also the treatment being given.

The admin on the ward was also carried out in a very friendly and helpful way.

Anything else?

The food was very good, a wide choice of dishes, and a choice of portion sizes. Bearing in mind the financial restraints and the number of meals served each day, together with the vagaries of admissions and disch\arges each day I felt the catering department achieved a very good standard.
