"Help received"

About: Aberdeen Royal Infirmary / Emergency Medicine Royal Aberdeen Children's Hospital / Accident & Emergency (Emergency Care)

(as a parent/guardian),

I was hoping you could post this if possible

I know there isn't alot of appreciation posts going about but I need to say a huge thankyou to everyone who helped with an incident outside ari where my son collapsed. There was an of duty Dr from Inverness I think he said who was amazing and got us from there down to accident and emergency. Also thanks to the lady's who came out of ari to help and took my little one down to hospital. Also huge thanks to all the medical teams who delt with him. I didn't manage to get the gentleman's name who was a Dr or the lady who was on her coffee break but still took us down. If anyone seen this and knows of these people please can they get in touch as myself and son wish to thank them

Dear Emmz

Many thanks for sharing your story. It sounds like it was a very stressful situation indeed and so glad to hear that there were people on site to help get your son to A&E and receive the treatment that he needed.

I can certainly pass on your thanks to the teams who cared for your son once in A&E and although you didn't get the names of the others that helped, I am sure they were aware that you were very grateful to them for their help at the time.

I hope that your son is recovering well

Take care

Fiona Robertson

Chief Nurse
