Yes I first registered with this practice over 30 years ago, long before it became the Matrix Practice. When the Matrix Practice first took over everything seemed to be going fine.Now they seem to entangled themselves with Sydenham health who have various other surgeries throughout the Medway area.Because I am over 70 and have hypertension I am supposed to have a dedicated doctor who knows my case. Just lately this surgery has failed me in every respect. Not only do I not have a dedicated doctor I don't even have a dedicated surgery.When I phoned for an appointment the other day they had no pre.book appointments at all I was told I could queue up at 8am and trust to luck or go to another surgery a mile further away up a steep hill with my only means of getting there,bearing in mind my ailments,would be to walk. This is totally out of order so after all this time I shall be leaving

Thank you for taking the time and trouble to make a comment but unfortunately your comments refer to Wayfield Medical Practice and NOT Matrix Medical Practice. Matrix Medical Practice is a single handed GP practice and therefore you would have a dedicated doctor, Dr A N Stacey. I can only apologise for the difficulties that you have experienced, but I would be very grateful if you would take the time to retract your comments as it is a very challenging time for GP practices (and the NHS) and all the staff do their best to offer the best possible care for our patients and to receive bad press when it doesn't relate to our surgery is unfounded.
