"Excellent and responsive medical practice"

My partner and I have been patients here for over 25 years. Even though the health service is under increasing pressure, the Brigstock practice maintains high standards, from receptionists through to doctors. My partner is deaf, so I have to do the phoning/triaging, and we generally get a call back from the doctor within an hour, and often less. (That's my only reservation about the practice - that the initial contact has to be by phone. Please bring in an alternative for your deaf and hard of hearing patients! )The practice has supported us through several difficult health issues, and we've felt well cared for.

My mother is a patient at a practice in Bromley, and I regard their treatment of her (she's 92) as bordering on negligent; my sister - who has quite complex health needs - is a patient at another Thornton Heath practice and struggles to get a timely appointment. So I always feel very lucky to be a patient at the Brigstock and South Norwood Practice. I recommend a Dr and her practice at Brigstock Road - thank you for continuing to deliver a great NHS service.
