What I liked

Endoscopy suite was well run and ordered when I attended a Saturday (additonal) list for a scope. The receptionist's greeting was pleasant and professional and nursing staff were approachable. Staff were meticulous when informing me of the procedure and invited questions at all times. In total, waiting time prior to the procedure was 90 minutes but during this time I was prepared/changed and had the opportunity to speak with nursing staff. On the whole I think it better to be "ready to go" rather than hanging around at home.

The doctor who performed the procedure was professional and experienced.

What could be improved

Waiting time. But I think that this is probably done to ensure all patients are in their beds and ready to go as soon as required so I have no complaint about it.

Thank you to all the staff who made this much dreaded visit both bearable and smooth. The dedication, empathy and professionalism shown is appreciated.
