"Respiratory care"

About: Harrogate District Hospital / Respiratory medicine

(as a service user),

I couldn't believe how a respiratory nurse could make me feel a nuisance. My GP contacted the nurse as I was struggling with my Pulmonary Fibrosis, the initial contact was fine. The second contact was terrible and left me in tears.

They asked why I had contacted them, when I hadn't it was my GP. They initially refused to see me, then amended it to say they would see me but at a different hospital to usual. I appreciate they are busy but their brusqueness was terrible.

I refused to attend.
