What I liked
I presented with chest pains and was seen very promptly.
It was explained that I would need blood tests and when these showed raised enzyme levels, that I would need an angiogram. I was a little disappointed that this could not be done on the Friday afternoon and that I had to stay in at the weekend (when I felt fine), but I realise now that this was for my own good and that to be 'stented' and back home within 7-8 days of the event was really very good service.
I was treated very well throughout my stay and found all the staff to be both friendly and professional.
Everywhere was very clean and, whilst the food was not too exciting it was generally of a good standard.
The information provided by the cardiac rehab team was very helpful and reassuring.
What could be improved
I didn't receive any specific feedback on a chest X-ray or a CT scan, but by the time I had the angiogram, these were probably not too relevant.
Anything else?
Whilst all the staff were excellent, there were 2 individuals who impressed particularly, but ... I note you don't want any individuals named.
"Very good treatment by busy but dedicated staff."
