What I liked
was the caring attitude of the nurses, and ancillary staff. nothing was too much trouble; not just for me, but other patients on Brockham ward. I was particularly moved by the genuine caring attitude toward a frail lady with dementia, opposite me,talking to her, feeding her, etc. I was generally kept informed of my progress, and they made every effort to make my move back home stress-free.
What could be improved
consistency of staff, - constant change a bit bewildering; As a Christian I would have loved to have had a bible available for my use - Gideons?
Anything else?
There was a difference of opinion, about my care, between the regular doctors and the weekend ones; resulting in a painful and unnecessary procedure, but it was corrected with no harm done
"Positive, and came away feeling good!"
