"ENT treatment"

About: Royal Sussex County Hospital / Ear, Nose and Throat

Yesterday I was admitted to hospital by my GP. I had a quinsy which needed seeing to ASAP.

When I arrived at the hospital, I only had to wait 45 minutes before being assessed. I then got taken to the ENT ward and the doctor saw me within 5 minutes and removed the infection straight away. The sign of relief was amazing! After not being able to talk for so long, swallow, breathe properly, everything slowly started to come back. The doctor was amazing and I can’t thank her enough for helping me. I wish I could remember her name because she really does deserve credit!!! The nurses on the ward were also fab! They looked after me extremely well, making sure I was comfortable and on the current drips and medication.

I can’t thank the ENT ward at the Royal Sussex County in Brighton enough for everything they did yesterday! You should be a very proud team.
