"Very poor"

About: Long Barn Lane Surgery

For people who work and busy mums doing school trips etc it's an absolute nightmare to keep phoning at 8.30 am

I have a quite painful UTI it's a very quick GP visit, 3 days of antibiotics but no luck getting an appointment

I gave up in the end and paid to consult a Dr online who faxed my prescription to a chemist of my choice

It's ridiculous that I can't see a Dr because I'm busy working, why on earth can't I make an appointment in advance for the next day or day after.

I literally do not have the time to constantly call the appointment line and get the engaged tone, 63 calls last time before I managed to get through and all appointments gone

Dr's are pretty clueless as well when you finally do get to see one

One Dr gave me a prescription for something that hadn't been used in the UK for years and another Dr after telling them that I had to call an ambulance out because my Hip locked up and wouldn't move ( excruciating pain ) and that it kept giving way prescribed me an antidepressant !

I did pay to see a private physio who after only one session told me I have a hip impingement and go back to my Dr and tell them to refer me to an orthopedic surgeon

I have now had the surgery to shave off the extra bone that was growing on my joint and tearing the cartridge

But I suppose if I dud just take the antidepressants I'd have been painfully happy

Time to get myself in gear and change Dr's
