"Very impressive care for children"

What I liked

I was very impressed with the efficiency we were seen. I was attending the children's A&E section with my 10 month old daughter and we were seen immediately and the care we received was absolutely amazing! Everyone was very friendly, caring and I was informed about what was going on at all times.

I had to go back with my daughter a couple of days after the first incident and even though the A&E was packed with children and their families everyone was still incredibly friendly, efficient and caring at the same time. Thanks to everyone there! You are doing a great job!!

What could be improved

I think the only thing I can say is that the whole unit would benefit from modernisation. The offices or treatment rooms are all very small, the waiting area is small too and especially so with pushchairs.

Also there could be a better emergency supply with things like wipes and cream for babies as the only thing provided were nappies. I would have been happy to pay for these things too, but there was nowhere I could have bought them, not anywhere near A&E and the children's ward anyway and when you are alone with a child you can't just leave them for half an hour to try and find these things.
