"My accident"

About: Aberdeen Royal Infirmary / Emergency Medicine Aberdeen Royal Infirmary / Orthopaedics Scottish Ambulance Service / Emergency Ambulance

(as a service user),

I was admitted to hospital in April after a serious accident in which I suffered several broken bones. I was in hospital a few weeks and the care I received was amazing. I would like to thank the ambulance service, A&E, wards 212 & 213, Physios and patient transport who took me to appts when I was home. Domestics and porters who do a great job. I am a member of staff and proud to be after seeing how everyone worked so well together. I’m on my feet again now and that is due to care I received. Thank you all so much.

Thank you very much for taking the time to respond on the care opinion website.

We will pass on your kind words to the ward staff, A&E, and Ambulance service.

We are always delighted to heard good news stories about well the wards have taken person centred approach to your care from the physio's, domestics, porters and nursing staff.

So glad to hear that you are back on your feet and for all your lovely comments about your care that you received. Hope you are well on the mend now.

Andrew Baird

Hi Charliepug,

It certainly sounds like you had a very traumatic time in April. If breaking one bone was not bad enough? Thank you so much for taking the time to share with us these kind words on CareOpinion. I am so glad that all the staff have made such a good impression. I am also glad to read that you are back on the go and I do hope that your rehabilitation is going smoothly.

Thank you again for your comments and I wish you all the very best.

Kind Regards

Alan
