"Bad experience"

About: Royal Blackburn Hospital / Pendle view inpatient unit

(as a service user),

Unfortunately I  had a very bad experience on this ward, possibly due to bad management & let down by most of the staff I came into contact with.

The main qualified Nursing staff didn't engage well enough with patients and spent much of there time  hidden away in the office.

No security measures in place to prevent class B controlled substance been on the ward.

Rooms weren't cleaned for the full time  I was on the ward,Had to wait 2 days just to get toilet roll.

A lot of staff weren't  approachable and I  felt they had no interest in care or the patients.

Found it difficult to receive already prescribed medication/ PRN it  seemed staff dished  it out when they felt like it.
