"Rude receptionists"

My daughter needed an appointment tried for 3 days , to be told this morning a urine sample to be given in and tested before appointment can be given if they feel needed ! Why wasn't she told on the first phone call!! I rang after the rude receptionist wouldn't try to understand how important it was , I asked to speak to the manager , who they went and got , she told me her first name and I didn't need to know her second name !! How professional!!! She spouted about policies and protocols and still wouldn't make an appointment, so I said I wanted an appointment for myself , this escalated and in the end she wouldn't give me one because she said it was for my daughter and I wouldnt give person information about myself over the phone ,,,,,it's a shame the doctors and nurses in this practice are great THE RECEPTIONISTS AND MANAGER!!! have totally let them down , not the first time but this time is the final straw , I'm moving doctors today for my daughter and taking her to A and E for treatment which should be treated at the doctors,

Obviously the receptionists are trained to a medic level and will diagnose if You are important or I'll enough to see a doctor,and forget about dignity or confidentiality you are bullied into telling all your personal detail over the phone , if you refuse you are not allowed treatment, their decision!!!! I'm shocked and disappointed and moving on , I would advise anyone to approach these front desk warriors!@!@
