What I liked

I would like to thank all staff in the maternity unit, including the mafu unit were I spent a lot of my time leading up to my daughters birth. Everyone was fantastic. As I was induced I also spent time in hospital for a few days. The staff at Princess Alexandra Hospital were friendly, welcoming and did everything they possibly could for you and very importantly were always up beat and smiling. When I wasn't able to get breakfast the staff brought your breakfast to your bed for you, without being asked. Even during my labour all staff were attentative and very caring, including student midwives. Midwives even came to see how you were after the birth and when I saw midwives from the mafu unit they recognised me and came and saw my daughter. All of this makes you realise how valuable every single member of staff is from carers, students, midwives to the doctors.
