Today my mother was told that she had two types of dementia, i.e. vascular dementia and Alzheimer's disease. The news was of course disappointing, but it was delivered with a first-class explanation, and with extremely helpful advice as to the future. I cannot commend more highly the doctor's handling of this difficult case.
