What I liked

My 2 year old sustained an injury that needed to be looked at so we visited the A&E Department. The staff at the reception area were very helpful and polite. We were taken to a separate waiting area designed with children in mind. There were lots of different things for children to do, thus taking their minds off the fact that they were in a hospital. The waiting area was neat and tidy and the baby change facility was extremely clean. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. They put my 2 year old at ease straight away and treated "Teddy" for the same injury, thereby making the trip to the hospital a pleasure.

Although the parking charges are dear, it was brilliant being able to park and take a ticket in order to pay for the stay once we were ready to leave. It meant that there was no worry about the meter running out and having to leave a 2 year old alone to go out and put more money in the meter.
