"Being transferred back to hospital nearer to home."

My mum wrote to St Andrew's Healthcare Birmingham, as she wanted me to move to a hospital closer to my home area. Within a month of an assessment made by two St Andrew's staff members I was transferred  to St Andrew's Birmingham. I was relieved and pleased to move back, I have been a patient here before and I did really well. My mum can see me weekly instead of monthly and she doesn't have to travel so far to see me.

Thank you for this post. It is really encouraging to hear positive feedback. In Birmingham we are striving to move more patients closer to home and to their families so it is really great to hear that this work has made a difference.
