"I’ll pay to avoid St George’s"

Inefficient, disorganised, abrupt and incompetent staff. So many examples from a very short (2 day, 1 night) stay; coming in to A&E with a GP referral and them having called ahead, physically unable to stand up on my own as I was blacking out to be told very abruptly that I couldn’t lie down and had to wait for ages although the ward was expecting me; having to speak to 8 doctors and numerous nurses in a day and a half having to repeat myself over and over and getting contradictory messages; sitting in my own blood as I had asked for help several times but was ignored as nurses were making tea for other patients; waiting four hours for a blood test (after asking for it 4 times) because no one knew who could do it .... I would say it’s a joke but it’s simply not funny.
