What I liked
Excellent treatment in A&E when my partner fractured his arm the other day. V. friendly and competent staff throughout, and only just over an hour from start to finish including X-rays despite being a weekend and a number of other people.
What could be improved
A small but important thing. We think it would have been useful to have been given a leaflet with self-care tips on discharge - such as using ice-packs and Neurofen for any swelling, need to take off sling to bend elbow periodically, need to exercise fingers, etc.
We found these on the Internet subsequently - and we're assuming they're valid - but it would have been nice to have advice that is validated by the staff of the hospital.
Anything else?
Excellent idea to have a website for comments. However, there doesn't seem to be a specific "Accident & Emergency" to list comments under?
"Very efficient, though with a minor but important..."
