"Length of time taken between tests and results ..."

About: Lincoln County Hospital

What could be improved

As mentioned by someone else, the length of time taken between tests and consultation was excessive. Eight weeks elapsed between my final test and consultant's results review.

Thank you for taking the time to tell us about your experience; I am sorry that you had to wait between your tests and subsequent consultant appointment. There are occasions when this is planned but if this had been the case with you then this should have been explained. I am somewhat embarrassed to be replying to you 8 months since you wrote this story as I can see the irony of apologising for the delay and yet being so late in replying.....please be assured that this is not through lack of appreciation of your experience but that we have only recently developed processes for regularly replying to postings and feel it is important to still reply to all however 'old' they may be. Thank you again.
