I attended the urgent care unit at about 8am, the self service check in was easy and efficient and the reception staff were particularly friendly.
I was seen by a nurse very quickly and referred to a doctor, I must have had to wait for no more than 10 minutes before the doctor saw me and the care I received was exceptional in comparison to other services in the area I have had to attend.
I have had to attend other A&E and urgent care units in the area for an ongoing condition but This is the first time I have had to visit Queen Mary hospital for urgent care and this is the first time I have left feeling satisfied with the way I was treated and the care I received.
The medication I was prescribed is working wonders and I feel this is because the doctor I saw took the time to listen to me and understand exactly how I was feeling. The doctor then carried out a examination showing superb empathy towards me and then proceed to talk me through the causes of my condition and explained the treatment in a way I could understand and feel comfortable with.
I have nothing but praise for the nurse and doctor that I saw.
"The best in the area"
