About: Whipps Cross University Hospital

What I liked

I attended GP X-Ray on Oct 17th 2011, barely able to walk, needing a pelvic x-ray. I also needed to purchase a copy of the x-ray on CD foi the same day, but was unable to walk to MRI department to collect it with any degree of ease or speed. The receptionist, having 1st suggested that I use the lift in the building opposite to get onto the right floor for MRI, took one look at my plight and offered to collect the CD for me personally. Her line manager joined the conversation and offered the same, telling me to be very careful when turning round, etc. When there was a delay in the preparation of the CD, they told me, and even sent someone outside the building to where I was sitting, to tell me when it was ready for me to pick up from the x-ray reception desk. Throughout the staff behaved in a caring and professional manner, which made a very bad day feel a lot brighter. Thank you all, X-ray staff!
