"Professional Exemplary Care in the face of..."

What I liked

Absolutely everything.

The Staff were amazing, friendly, professional, compassionate, attentive, informative and considerate. I couldn't be more satisfied.

What could be improved

Possibly some of the food and the time taken for medications to be confirmed and discharge (2.5 hours). But as far as the care was concerned, nothing could have been improved. I am extremely impressed.

Anything else?

I wish to extend my heartfelt thanks to all staff, from the ambulance crew, paramedics, and those involved in saving my fathers life last Wednesday 5th October, through to his discharge on 13th October.

The Consultants, doctors, nurses and health care attendants attentiveness was exemplary.

Whilst in hospital my father reached his 80th birthday. In order for us to celebrate the occasion, the staff on Tilgate Ward allowed the family to attend a small celebration in the ward. Despite the disruption this must have caused, the staff couldn't have been more accommodating and made it a memorable occasion for all concerned.

During my father's entire stay at hospital, the staff helped my father to remain positive and without doubt aided in his recovery by encouraging him to get better.

Clearly, given the extent of his illness, my father encountered some "close calls" and without doubt the professionalism and supportive nature of the staff, provided the building blocks for both his recovery and the families peace of mind.

Once again, I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
