About: Dorset County Hospital

What I liked

The excellent briefing for pacemaker insertion about a month before the procedure.

Cleanliness and tidiness across the department.

Informality and friendliness of all staff that I encountered. This allayed any concern and worries.

Offer of my choice of music throughout the procedure.

Keeping to time at all stages, especially discharge checks in time to avoid inconvenience to my family.

Lack of pain, rapid healing, almost invisible scar and feeling fitter and more energetic than I have for some time.

What could be improved

Nothing that I can think of.

Anything else?

This was my second admission to this hospital within 3 years and i count myself fortunate that my wife and I live within a mile of this admirable, caring and highly efficient hospital.
