took ill at home thurs 15/2/18 early afternoon called 111 they sent a fast respone medic who hooked me up to ecg turns out i am having a heart attack nurse paramedic called for air for me but it was busy taking someone to cath lab linc which is what i needed so a very uncomfortable ride in the back of a van ( no disrespect to EMAS ) but it aint ideal in the back on a blue light run that distance we arrived at Lincoln straight to cath lab where a team was waiting for me I was wheeled straight in to theater where the very professional and caring team fitted a stent into my left artery with me watching on the computer screens surreal or what absolutely amazed with the team there within 20 mins of me arriving pain was gone and i was moved onto Johnson ward after an hour to make sure i was stable.
Again I was cared for by a fantastic team of very caring professionals who do go that extra mile from nursing staff and doctors all the way down to domestics and cleaners. I have now been discharged by consultant and making a strong recovery I am well aware that I was lucky enough to have everything in the right place at the right time or things could have been very different for me SO THANK YOU EMAS LINCOLN CATH LAB ALL ON JOHNSON WARD
