(as a service user),

Drink is my problem. 

It crept up on me before I realised.

Every day is a battle.

Lost my house.

Lost my job.

Groups help me.

I travel to get to this service every day.

Every day is a step forward

Sometimes a step backwards

Thank you for posting this, I found it powerful.

To travel to the service every day when it is a battle takes strength and I'm really glad that groups help. In a few words you capture what the recovery journey can be like. Keep coming in, and keep attending the groups....and keep writing!
