About: St Mary's Hospital / Gynaecology

Today 15th June 2018 i attended gyney oncology at st marys to have biopsys taken under general anaesthetic for a on going life condition. I have been attending st marys regularly for 20 years for this condition.

I want to say from the moment you walk in everyone who I came into contact with was absolutely lovely . So professional but at the same time so friendly ,

And reassuring to any of your questions or fears. I would like to thank nurses on ward 62 and theatre staff and my aneathstatist who was so reassuring which helped me a lot,. And a special thank you to the doctor for the continual care I receive from her.. I can honestly say to anyone attending st marys hospital the care you recieve is the best..

Thank you for your positive comments posted on the NHS Choices website regarding your care on Ward 62 at Saint Mary’s Hospital. It was very kind of you to take the time to write and compliment the staff as it is good to receive positive feedback which reflects the hard work and dedication of our staff. It was reassuring to read that you thought that the nursing and medical teams were friendly and professional and that they provided you with the care and reassurance that made this event a positive experience for you.

The Trust has introduced a Behavioural framework within which all members of the midwifery and medical teams work and the women and their families in our care are central to this ethos. I can assure you that we have passed on your thoughts to Mrs Louise Weaver-Lowe, Head of Nursing and Dr Sean Burns, Clinical Head of Division and the staff involved.

The Patient Experience Team.
