"These services have made a difference"

About: Long term neurological conditions and allied services / Neurological enablement service (NES)

(as a service user),

"ARC" was extremely beneficial: the physio sessions + walking practice with Tamsin, especially. I also joined the Hand Group; warm water + massage prior to completing various tasks helped to improve hand functions.

After I left ARC, Tamara + her team assessed my abilities + introduced new therapies: bands, ankle weights, putty, showing me how they could improve mobility. Hydrotherapy sessions stopped after only three, unfortunately, due to budget cuts.

Both of these services have made a difference to my progress + to my mood, by supporting + encouraging me to continue the exercises.

Thank you for taking the time to let us know how you benefitted from the work that Tamara did with you. It is important for everyone to recognise that improved ‘performance’ can dramatically affect how we feel. This is excellent evidence for us to pass to those who scrutinise the performance of our services.

I will make sure that Tamara and wider team receive your comments.

Thank you again,

Lynn M Burscough
