"Fast, caring treatment at a very frightening time."

About: Kettering General Hospital

What I liked

I took my 89 year old mother to A & E in September with suspected heart attack. After many tests she was admitted to CCU. The treatment she received was excellent and no stone was left unturned to ascertain a diagnosis. She had never been in hospital in her life and before this happened was exceptionally fit and active for her age. All the staff were very attentive and kind. She was diagnosed with atrial fibrillation and given the appropriate drugs to help her cope with this condition.

My mother has asked me to write to the hospital to let them know how impressed she was with the care she received.

What could be improved

Nothing.

Thank you for your kind comments with regards to the care and treatment your mother received in the A and E department. It is always great to receive feedback of any kind about our services and staff and it is really appreciated by all that you have taken the time to comment so positively.

I will ensure that the staff are made aware of your feedback.

Thank you once again
