"Change to referrals"

I am rather upset on how things in orthopaedics dept have changed, i was referred a long time ago about my left hip, the consultant i saw i didn't go much on, so i asked my consultant that was dealing with my knees if they would have me for my hip which they did.

I needed surgery on my left knee as it was more important than my left hip, i had my partial knee replacement done at kims hospital, when i see them they told me i would now have to get referred for my left hip, being as it has all change to this choose and book instead of paper referrals.

When i see my dr last week i asked that i could see the same consultant that ive been under. yesterday i got a phone call from the dr to pick up a choose and book form, so i rang them and was told that you now have to be assessed, they didnt say how long i would have to wait. when i go can i ask that i see my consultant that ive known for 6 years, it has left me feeling rather anxious
