"An outstanding service. Thank you."

About: William Harvey Hospital (Ashford)

What I liked

On returning to England with a group of 44 primary school children, one of our pupils was taken ill. The ambulance met us on the M20 and recommended the child needed to to be checked over at hospital. we were told it could be 3-4 hrs. However on hearing our situation and the fact that we had 43 more children waiting at Maidstone services the staff at A&E rushed our child through and made sure he was able to travel the remainder of the journey back to Manchester with out too much delay. This was above and beyond what we expected and all the staff and parents of children on the trip were extremely greatful.

What could be improved

nothing

Thank you very much for taking the time and trouble to post your kind comments. Your feedback is much appreciated and has been passed on to the staff in A&E at WHH. The staff are very grateful to you and the parents for your comments.

We are glad to hear that the journey was resumed without much delay, and hope the remainder of the journey was uneventful for you all.

Many thanks again.

Madeleine Perris, Patient Experience Manager, EKHUFT
