What I liked
I was admitted to Jessops wing - Rivelin ward on the 19th September for induction - which unfortunately didn't work and I was taken for an emergency section on the 23rd, after which I was on Norfolk Ward.
I cannot thank everyone enough - the staff right down to the domestics were pleasant and helpful.
On Norfolk ward despite being extremely busy I never felt neglected or like I was a burden especially when in my opinion I was using call system for minor things - I was helped with everything for caring for my daughter and when I asked to be able ti do things myself I was given that chance which helped build my confidence.
i had attempted breast feeding which didn't work for me but i did not feel i was forced into kepp trying in fact i was told sometimes it isn't easy and i had to do what was best for me and my child and what was comfortable for me.
the service was great and I even managed to have a laugh when I was assisted to the shower for the first time...depsite just cleaning the floor which in promptly bled all over they made me feel like it was no problem - making a joke about it which made me laugh.
"Fantastic! couldn't ask for a better service"
