"Having a cyst removed from my scalp."

About: Forth Valley Royal Hospital / Outpatients

(as the patient),

It was all very quick and efficient. The staff - Kirsty and Helen - were reassuring and professional and the whole thing was completed without any fuss.

The only problem seems to be in terms of getting stitches out - I phoned our GP, was referred to a treatment room who didn't have any appointments for nearly 2 weeks, I was advised to try another health centre who were in a similar position but who said that I can go to minor injuries which seems to be the most sensible thing under the circumstances.

Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback. It is reassuring to hear that your visit to minor ops was a positive one at what can be an anxious time. I have shared this with our team.

I am sorry to hear that you are having problems arranging the removal of your sutures. I would be more than happy to help you with this situation. You can contact me via Pauline Marland (Patient experience co-ordinator) on 01324 566660 or email p.marland@nhs.net and I can arrange an appointment for me to remove your sutures.

Thanks again.
