"Vascular surgery, ward C36"

About: Sunderland Royal Hospital / Vascular surgery

After being in Ward C36 for a double stent fitment, I cannot really fault any of the staff, from consultants to nursing staff, to domestic and catering staff. All of whom were extremely helpful

Unfortunately, what I do find fault with, is the water supply. The taste was so unpleasant that I no longer enjoy any food or drinks, because everything now has the same bitter taste.

In the past I have been hiking in the Pyrenees, and the only water available at one point was stagnant water, which after being streilised and purified, was decidedly sweet comparedf to the hopital supply.

So I do have to say thank you, for the care and attention, and also for killing my taste buds.

Thank you for leaving such wonderful feedback about our team. Good to hear that you found them to be caring and attentive.

I'm sorry to hear that you found the taste of the water unpleasant. We will certainly feed this back to the ward. Did you mention this to the team during your stay?
