"Oxford suite"

We brought my son from Kidderminster to Hereford for a breath test today and were very pleased by how he was cared for.

Firstly the car parking costs are high and I can see how this could be a huge problem for those attending A&E or clinics with no clear timescale. However unlike Kidderminster and Worcester Royal the car park is well maintained and there is enough parking spaces.

The hospital has a friendly and positive atmosphere,

It was nice to see helpful notices like how to avoid trips and falls etc rather than negative ones citing how much patients costs the NHS. Again unlike Kidderminster & the Royal at Worcester.

Both the medical and the reception staff were polite, friendly and helpful, The staff who conducted the test were kind and informative which was great as my son has autism.

The coffee shop isn't a bad price , but the toasted teacakes aren't really toasted so a bit disappointing. And the toilets are a little dirty .

So, Hereford hospital is far nicer than our local hospitals and has a much more patient centered atmosphere.
