What I liked
I was in the Richard Bright ward at Kings for a kidney transplant. I was very impressed with the level of surgical and medical care I was given. The surgeon and his team were superb and did an excellent job on me and the daily consultant visits under the direction of another doctor were vital in that support. The nursing team on the ward were very helpful and supportive and under expert guidance. Even the night staff were very good which is not always the case as it done by agency but not in my case. Congrats to the catering staff who I thought did an excellent job of providing an excellent standard of food. I was living in fear of being admitted to hospital and trying to eat the food as one hears so many horror stories. Cleaning on the ward was also of an high standard. Overall I consider myself fortunate to have had the care and support I received and would have no hesitation in recommending Kings. It is a very busy hospital, parking is a nightmare, it can be noisy and disruptive on the ward at night, but the care cannot be faulted. Thank you Kings for all you did and it will be my first choice of treatment even though I live in Gravesend.
What could be improved
Parking is very poor .
"overall an excellent hospital providing wonderful..."
