"My sons time on Samphire Ward"

My son has been on Samphire Ward for 11 days, he has settled well and I feel for the first time his mental health is being treated appropriately, I have found the staff to be helpful and understanding, he is now being transferred to Priority House because we live in Maidstone, I am extremely worried due to previous experience of this establishment, having just read the reviews I do no think things have changed.

Thank you for sharing your positive feedback which we will ensure is shared with the staff at Samphire Ward.

Dear Anonymous, We were sorry to note your worries about your son’s transfer to Priority House.

We would like to assure you that KMPT endeavours to work to high standard across its service. If you do have any concerns about the support in Maidstone, please contact the Modern Matron, Sojan Joseph, on 01622 725000.

He will be happy to meet with you in person. He is also available every Friday 2-4pm to meet with carers, you do not need to book an appointment, please ask at the Priority house reception between these times.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback.
