What I liked
The staff in Bluebell ward were without exception fantastic - my little girl had been admitted because she had managed to put a hearing aid battery in her ear which could not be removed without GA. The staff from ward orderlys, nurses, sister in charge were sympathetic, reassuring and generally could not do enough to make sure that our stay in hospital was as pleasant as possible.
Pre theater treatment was brilliant and everything was explained very clearly, the nurse in recovery room understood my anxiety and again helped to put me at ease.
My daughter is more or less back to normal today, just a bit tierd, and has nothing but lovely memories from the hospital so much so she asked me to give the kind doctor who removed the battery a big hug - can't do that but may I say from both of us a very, very big thank you
What could be improved
Amount of time to wait initially to see Doctor in the first instance - although much happier to sit and wait for correct treatment.
