"Day case operation for a Morton's neuroma"

About: Droitwich Spa Hospital

I was referred to the BMI Droitwichj spa hospital via my GP surgery.. after having a double bunion operation two years previous it had left me with also having a Morton's neuroma which was diagnosed in my right foot..despite attempts of steroid injections etc which had little or no effect I was referred via the same surgeon to have the nerve removed which had become very painful .When I was admitted to hospital as a day patient I found the staff to be most welcoming and very efficient. They kept me well informed of my operation time etc, reassured me about the procedure and showed me to a very comfortable room which was mine for that day. The aftercare was also first class, and when I came out of theatre I was taken back to my room and bought a nice snack and drink which was much appreciated..I was dismissed later that evening and given paperwork to refer to on how to look after my dressing. Stitches were removed some 10 days later and I have to say I am finally out of pain.. I've gone from strength to strength with my recovery, and I have to say that my recovery has been first class. I can't thank my surgeon enough for his professionalism and the outcome of my surgery.. staff were efficient and welcoming. I felt very looked after and would have no hesitation in recommending this hospital as my request for surgery was dealt with in a very short period of time..

Many thanks Mrs Such for taking the time to leave such a positive review. I am very pleased to hear you are recovering well and will pass on your comments to my teams.

Kind regards,
