What I liked

There was not a lot I liked about my experience at William Harvey.

What could be improved

Improvements to the system. Also communication between patients and staff. Communication between staff and staff. Management. control.

Anything else?

To cut a long experience short. I was told by my doctor to get to A&E asap and ask for the medical team. Arrived at 5.30pm 6/9/11. Was seen by a doctor at 1.15am 7/9/11. So waited 7hrs 45mns. At 4pm 7/9/11 I was told I could leave the hospital. I was not seen by a doctor to be discharged. Maybe they were short staffed but that is surely not the way to run such an important department. It makes you wonder what would happen if our town ever had a major dissaster. Utter chaos would probably describe it.
