"I received unprofessional care."

About: Faversham Medical Practice

I have found the surgery very hit and miss, some doctors good, others not. I have experienced a number of issues and will be contacting the surgery direct with my concerns about my treatment. The overall feel is one where you are viewed as a customer, rather than a patient - you are a number on a convertor belt to be pushed through. I was lucky to be seen by an excellent nurse who referred me to hospital and this was absolutely the right advice. I think the service could be more friendly; getting an appointment certainly isn't easy and I have never seen the same doctor twice which means I have to explain my symptoms over and over. It's quite a large practice, it feels more like Specsavers than a doctor's! They were excellent with my young daughter so can't fault them there. The receptionists are satisfactory but seem rather disorganised at times, although I understand it's a difficult job.

So,a mixed bag.

Thank you for your comment today.

Faversham Medical Practice always tries to provide the best service for our patients and I am sorry if this was not the case for you.

I would be happy to discuss this with you in person if you would like to call the surgery and ask for an appointment with me.
