"Poor communication leading to distress."

About: Broomfield Hospital

After fast track apt which makes you worry in the first place, I received a letter for apt, which j can't argue was not done quickly, however no details on the letter as to what to expect. O arrival after booking in at relevant department, name called and met with female gyni consultant, who was very harsh, questioning me as to why there and basically made to feel wasting her time she didn't have any notes as to why j was there so I explain what j could from my scan and having pcos, was able to locate my scan result as had it at Broomfield then proceeded to tell me that I do not have pcos cysts, as if I've made it up, yet lived with pcos and infertility fit 15 year..., only to them be told will exam me as I'm here now, and it's a cancer referral and I can't be there for cancer as my age it's unlikely, I'm 38 and from my little knowledge cancer doesn't not chose what age it attacks you so this bedside manner was very upsetting, popped into bed for exam which i wasn't expecting, and my goodness the pain was unbelievable felt like I've been stabbed, it was very brutally and she laughed saying as I can't handle the pain

I will have to have it done under. It's been 3 days now and I feel awful as well as feel brutalized and that it's all my fault. I try not to be a burden and go to gp let alone hospital yet she made me feel that I've wasted her time and at my age i can't get cancer, this is why I went as my gp wants to rule this out. I'm so upset and traumatised by this experience.
