"Maple ward Scarborough general hospital"

After suffering pain for a couple of days in my bowels already after being in hospital for 5 days in January and being diagnosed with diveticula disease I entered accident and emergency this was early hours sunday 5th may 2018. Very prompt service from the receptionist I was fast dealt with by the staff in a and e and moved quickly to maple ward still in an awful lot of pain. Once on maple ward the service from all staff from doctors to nurses health care assistants cleaner everybody was fantastic when I was in pain the nurses were prompt with there service quickly making sure I got the adiquate pain relief I required now I'm not the best of patients considering even in such pain I would get up and wander of due to my own restlessness but if I was away and missed medication round they were there to help as soon as I got bk to my bed I was treated with the upmost respect and dignity at all times my consultant was fantastic and understanding I did not want to be in hospital like most people but the staffs kindness and generosity made my stay pleasent and comfortable I can't thank them enough I must add when I was in hospital in January on lilac ward it was just the same I applaud the hospital team working under such presume your hear horror stories in the press regarding the NHS but these guys have an amazing ability to have the compassion and understanding of every individual patient.
